The Challenge

With the complexity of chemical logistics and distribution, LTH ensures the practice of safety and security protocols, data reconciliation, tagging and tracking of products with the assurance that each complies with governmental regulations, proper documentation of all transactions, and the integration of multi-lingual operations across multi-locations. LTH needed a configurable system that would be designed to meet its bespoke requirements.

The Solutions

Symphony WMS has been integrated into the LTH infrastructure for the chemical management of drums classification through barcode scanning, the tagging and monitoring of chemical levels and designation of specific drums into holding areas before it is brought back into circulation. These efforts are integral safety measures and value-adds in enabling LTH to ensure adherence to Chemical Authority Safety regulations and governance. With the additional integration of the Symphony OMS and Symphony TMS, LTH manages its container haulage and loose cargo distribution routes to cut maintenance costs and deployment time. This consolidated system has enabled LTH to effectively streamline its operations and quickly expand its offer in other locations in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand with ease.
